Help Desk Network Support Technician

We are looking for an experienced, organized, and team-oriented person to join our awesome help desk support team! We’re growing and need more help in our Service Department at the Help Desk. Your goal is to provide consistent, reliable and trustworthy network support to clients, remotely by telephone or directly accessing the client’s network. You’ve got to provide a high level of communication and accurately record your support activity, detailing the resolution.

 

TCW Computer Systems (and Glick Audio & Video) is a locally owned and operated company specializing in Network Solutions (servers, workstations, and infrastructure), Managed Services (preventative maintenance and monitoring), VoIP Phone systems and Microsoft and Apple support to businesses and consumers. Our sister company, Glick Audio & Video, specializes in AV gear for conference and meeting rooms, houses of worship and home theatres and is located in the same building.

 

Here are some things you can expect:

-Remotely troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT (desktop, to networking, to server) issues for our clients.

-Support from and collaboration with a great group of Techs that can help when you get into a bind (…and you will).

-Work with a group that provides quick, courteous and clear communication to our client’s technical inquiries.

-Record client information, resolutions and hours worked with accuracy and timeliness for proper invoicing.

-Participate in training sessions and acquire certifications with access to industry resources.

-Participate in troubleshooting discussions with other technicians.

-Keep current on the latest IT technologies.

-Attend weekly tech meetings.

 

Here are some of the basics we’re looking for:

-Three to five years of experience in the Tech world.

-An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in IT.

-Microsoft desktop and server OS experience or certifications.

-Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with clients.

-Experience with CRM software for documentation and invoicing.

-Detail-oriented and organized.

-A positive attitude, with the customer’s best interest in mind.

-High level of personal integrity and work ethic.
